CA Dream Act Application: what to gather
- An email address I will keep (not a school email)
- A safe place to write my username and password
- My 2025 tax return, or my W-2 forms or a record of what I earned in 2025
- My parents' 2025 tax return or income records, if my parents must be on the form
- Money in checking and savings today, for me and my parents, plus any investments or business we own
- Number of people in my family
- Every California high school, adult school and community college I attended, with city and start and end dates
- The California colleges I want to list (up to 10)
- A time when one parent can sign, if needed
- My deadline: March 2, 2027 (community college: September 2, 2027 is the last Cal Grant date)
After I submit:
- I read the confirmation page and fixed errors
- I got my Dream ID by email
- I made my WebGrants 4 Students account
- My counselor confirmed my GPA was sent
