This week
- Photocopy my Certificate of Naturalization. Store the original flat and safe.
- Register to vote (registertovote.ca.gov or vote.gov)
- Contact Social Security to update my record (1-800-772-1213)
Passport
- DS-11 filled out (signed only as the instructions say)
- Original certificate + photocopy
- Photo ID + copy of front and back
- One passport photo
- Check or money order to "U.S. Department of State" ($130 book / $30 card / $160 both, + $60 if expedited)
- $35 acceptance fee for the facility

Family
- Check whether my children under 18 became citizens
- Update DMV if my name or address changed
