- I am paying from a bank account, debit card or credit card, not cash or a money order (no 1% tax)
- If I am paying in cash, I checked that the receipt shows the 1% tax
- I compared the fee and the exchange rate at two places
- If I use a credit card, I asked my card company about extra fees or interest
- I know exactly how much my family will receive
- I wrote down the confirmation number and kept the receipt
- I know I can cancel for free within 30 minutes
- I will report any mistake right away, and within 180 days
- I did not buy a prepaid card with cash just to dodge the tax
